Find & Create

Workona’s find and create bar allows you to search for and create nearly anything in the cloud. It learns as you use it, so it’s faster and more relevant to your work than the browser’s built-in search.

Find apps, workspaces, resources, and tabs

  1. Open Workona.
  2. Click the find and create bar and type the name of what you’re looking for.
  3. To filter by resources, type "/resources", followed by your search query.
  4. Click the search result to open it, or press the Return / Enter key if the result is already selected.

Create new documents and other app resources

  1. Open Workona.

  2. Click the find and create bar and type “/new”, followed by the name of the app resource you want to create. For example:

    • New Asana Project
    • New Google Calendar Event
    • New Airtable Base
    • New GitHub Pull Request
    • New Google Doc
  3. Click the app resource to create it, or press the Return / Enter key if the app resource is already selected.

  4. Or, click the find and create bar and simply type "/new" to see all the app resources you can create.

  3. Click the search result to open it, or press the Return / Enter key if the result is already selected.

Switch to tab

  1. Open Workona.
  2. Click the find and create bar and type the name of a tab.
  3. Click the search result to open it, or press the Return / Enter key if the result is already selected.
  4. When searching for an open tab, by default Workona will switch you to the existing tab — even if it’s in a different workspace. To open a new copy of the tab in your current workspace, click the Open in new tab button, or use the shortcut Command + Return (Mac) or Control + Enter (Windows).
