Apps

Workona brings your favorite apps together so you can work faster. Without leaving Workona, you can find, open, and create app resources like Google Docs, Asana Projects, Zoom Meetings, and hundreds more.


Start using apps

  1. Open Workona
  2. Click on the Apps icon in the bottom left and click an app icon to add it to the dock.
  3. If you recently used an app, it will automatically appear in the dock.
  4. Click on an app icon in the dock to begin using it.

Manually add apps

Remember that you can automatically access your most-used apps right away. To manually add more apps:

  1. Open Workona
  2. Click on the Apps icon in the bottom left.
  3. Click an app to add it to the dock. Click the search bar to search just the apps you’ve added.
  4. Click Find More Apps to see all apps available in Workona.
  5. Search for the app you'd like to add
  6. Click on the app name.
  7. Click Add App.

Add or remove apps in the dock

  1. Open Workona
  2. Click on the Apps icon in the bottom left.
  3. Your apps list will appear.
  4. To add an app to the dock, click the button to the right of the app name and click Keep in dock. Or, simply drag and drop the app into the dock. The app will appear in the dock.
  5. To remove an app from the dock, click the button to the right of the app name and click Remove app. The app will disappear from the dock.

Create app resources

  1. Open Workona
  2. Click on the Apps icon in the top left.
  3. Click an app icon from the dock.
  4. Click New and the app resource you want to create.
  5. Or, use the find and create bar to quickly create new app resources.

Open and save app resources to a workspace

  1. Open Workona.
  2. Click an app icon from the dock. Items in the app will appear in order from most recently opened to least recently opened.
  3. Click an item to open it.
  4. Click the Save icon on the item to save to your current workspace.

Search within apps

  1. Open Workona
  2. Click an app icon from the dock.
  3. Click the search bar in the app and type the name of what you’re looking for.
  4. From the search results, click an item to open it or click the Save icon on the item to save to your current workspace.

Hide apps in dock

  1. Open Workona
  2. Click the Settings icon in the lower left of the page.
  3. Click Apps.
  4. Deselect Show apps in dock.
